Samuel Leonard Farina II, age 66, of Lake Village, Indiana passed away on September 22, 2021 in Crown Point. He was born November 15, 1954 in East Chicago, Indiana to Samuel L., Sr. and Mary (Kowalczyk) Farina. Sam retired from GATX tank car company in East Chicago Indiana as a tank car inspector. He was a very intelligent man that had a passion for antiques, fishing, and many other hobbies. He graduated in 1972 from Hammond High School. Sam is survived by his loving wife, April Elaine Farina (nee Lipa); his two sons Samuel Leonard Farina III with grandson Samuel Leonard Farina IV of Crown Point, Indiana; and Joseph Anthony Farina with granddaughters Hailey and Victoria of Wyoming; his siblings: Mary Ann Molden and Samuela Farina of Demotte, Indiana; Pat and Larry Pennington of Jasper, Indiana; Joan Clark of Jasper, Indiana; and Donald Farina of Ferdinand, Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Mary Farina, sister Sandra and brother Leonard. There will be a private service at Integrity Funeral Service & Cremation in Wheatfield, Indiana.
